Well, I ALMOST made it through the winter without getting sick. Dragging for a few days, I wandered into the walk-in clinic to see if anything was up. A sinus infection and double ear infection later, I have been lying around my house most of the week staring at everything. That is not good because my brain starts wandering and then redecorating the house!
I decided to focus this week on the small details that can enhance interior design. Since I was trapped at home, I used my house as the guinea pig.
I love how the hot pink fringe and circles on these pillows make our living room more playful.
I used a different fabric on the back of my office chairs to add another texture to the room. The rest is soft orange ultra-suede ~ very cozy to sit in.
An antique tray and some decorative pieces spruce up our self-serve bar.
Pale pink buttons add a fun element to this tufted chair.
Pets and flowers always make interior design look better!
Books showcase your interests and personality, and are a great way to add a special touch to a room.
I love to mix a variety of patterns together.
This is definitely not everyone’s style, but it makes me happy.
Art.
Find what you love and…
…hang it up!
Circles on my walls and circles on my sconces in the powder room.
I love this big pattern on my small stool. Makes it pop.
Orange beads on this bathroom roman shade play off the glossy orange walls.
Personalize. Family pictures, always!
This fun promotion from my fragrance days lives in my office. Adds color and history.
Well, I hope the tour of these four walls wasn’t too boring. Get me out!
