Well, well, well. Â A “sister” store that I am very excited about JUST opened in the US!
HomeSense, the sister store of HomeGoods, finally arrived in the US. Â It has been in Europe and Canada for a while, but the first store launched in Framingham, MA on August 17th.
Same low prices as HomeGoods, but with a different flair. Â The idea behind the store’s design is to help shoppers visualize what the products would look like in their own home.
HomeSense is also more curated, with an emphasis on what is current in design.
If HomeGoods helps accessorize your home, HomeSense is a full-service operation with furniture, lighting, art, rugs, accent pieces and more!
My daughter, who will soon be decorating her first apartment, is the one who found out about HomeSense on Instagram.
The next two HomeSense stores will open this fall in New Jersey. Â East Hanover in September and Ocean Township in October.
I am sensing a New Jersey field trip in my future!
Bloggers and influencers were invited to the opening in Framingham and the buzz is GOOD.
Apparently, the takeaway was “I wanted to buy everything in the store.”
Pillows.
Garden.
Rugs.
Furniture.
HomeSense seems to have it ALL.
I have no idea where East Hanover, New Jersey is – but I am Google mapping it now so I can be ready for the opening in September!

Why not a field trip up here to the mother store and me!! I went on opening day – on a hunt for ginger jars for niece’s wedding. Huge and overwhelming but will be perfect for Em’s new lily pad!
Sounds fun, maybe I will!!!!
I live near East Hanover, can’t wait ! I do home staging so it may be a game changer for larger furnishings, hoping!
You are lucky!!!!
This store opening will be one of the few times I’m happy I live in New Jersey!! HomeSense here I come!!
