There is nothing better than paint to transform something. A room, a piece of furniture, an accent piece. You can reuse things over and over just with a new coat of paint. I tend to use Benjamin Moore and Farrow & Ball paint brands most often. Here are a few examples of some little tweaks I’ve done with paint.
To update this old master bathroom vanity…
I tried a few colors on the vanity doors and chose the first one, Farrow & Ball London Stone.
Add some new knobs and a big change!
In an orange bedroom, I took the mirror from over the bureau…
Painted it Benjamin Moore Decorator White and hung it over the desk. Walls painted Benjamin Moore Spring Iris.
A cabinet I had made to hide all electronic equipment in a family room…
Is painted fun colors to match the throw pillows in the room.
Four of these old metal bistro chairs were rusting away in my garage.
A couple of coats of Rust-Oleum glossy dark gray…
Now they are perfect for our kitchen eating area.
Small in scale and don’t take up as much space as our old chairs did.
A beach house bathroom gets a facelift with a cheery cherry red Benjamin Moore paint.
Beachy and fun.
A bulky kitchen pantry (far right) gets a new look…
I painted it Farrow & Ball Joa’s White, added some new cabinets…
A whole new look!
Remember the bulky, old pine TV cabinets like this one that we all had? I painted the outside black…
and the inside Farrow & Ball Tallow to match the living room wall color when we redecorated. A full-service bar!
