Time for a little room update for my newly minted college girl!
Orange has been the color since late middle school.
It did work for a long time. We attempted to change it in high school, but too many things got in the way.
She wants lilac/lavender ~ anything in the purple family.
I am starting with this Eileen Kathryn Boyd wisteria geometric fabric. It has a nice variety of purple shades. It picks up the gray of her rug and has enough navy to use an accent color. I’m using it for two big 22″ x 22″ pillows on her bed.
I love this Duralee amethyst fabric for an additional 18″ x 18″ bed pillow, finished with a fun Kravet fringe trim.
Keeping the bed frame, but replacing the curtains with a horizontal navy stripe and new Pottery Barn bedding with a navy trim.
I think I will paint the walls Benjamin Moore #1404 Crocus. What do you think?
Two clear glass lamps with white shades will replace the orange lamps.
Her bureau is an old family relic. Should I replace it or just switch out the knobs?
I am excited about this little refresh. It think it will be really cute and I hope she likes it!
