I am so excited for July 4th weekend!
Emily, Tim and Rhino will be in the nest – Grace is in Berlin for most of the summer with Northwestern and all of her friends.
She turns 20 on July 3rd. Â Happy BIRTHDAY Grace! Â I will really miss not being with you sweetie…. Â For as long as I can remember, we celebrated on Block with all of your friends, our friends, hot dogs and tons of red-white and blue CUPCAKES!
It’s time to fire up the GRILL ~ chill the beer and rose. Â The cute Block Island parade above.
The weather is supposed to be gorgeous.
For me, this is the official kick-off to summer.

The 4th always makes me think of you Liz – my first friend on BI – I had to look past the Tim dogs (an acquired taste) to see what a gem you are! Happy 4th of July!
