ICFF is the International Contemporary Furniture Fair that is held at the Jacob Javits Center in NYC every spring.
It features what’s next in contemporary design, luxury interiors and high end furniture.
Amazing styles by international furniture brands and emerging new talent highlight unique furnishings, seating, wall covering, lighting, accessories, outdoor furniture and more.
Architects, interior designers and developers can find custom designs and concepts here that they cannot find anywhere else.
ICFF Talks is a series of free presentations featuring panels of industry leaders discussing, new introductions, materials and trends in the interior design world. Â Chef Daniel Boulud and designer Jeffrey Beers talked about their long collaboration that resulted in restaurants including db Moderne and db Brasserie. Â How cool is that?
ICFF Studio is a forum where emerging designers compete with peers by submitting market ready, producible concepts with the goal of being chosen as one of the finalists that will be profiled to 32,000 professionals attending ICFF.
 Â
It’s inspirational to walk through ICFF Studio and see all of the incredibly creative pieces by these new designers.
ICFF also convenes the industry’s top editors and invites them to scout the floor of the Javits Center to choose the best of the best of the year’s design crop. Â That would be a hard job…
 Â
The show opened on Saturday, May 16th and ran through May 19th. Â I wandered over (finally) on Monday and wished I had gone a lot earlier. Â So much to see.
There is a big launch party the night before ICFF opens that I missed because I was laser focused on seeing the opening of “Pitch Perfect 2.” Â And the launch party was at MOMA…. Â I don’t think I will be doing THAT again!
I got there first thing Monday morning and managed to cover the two expansive floors of the show.
More than 24 countries are represented at ICFF.
There is so much to see, I didn’t know where to look! Â I left with a big stack of business cards.
 Â
Textured wall coverings were everywhere. Â Felt, wood (above left), plastic. Â A huge trend.
Â
How fun would it be to have a lime green textured wall!
 Â
The visual feast goes on and on.
I will definitely be attending ICFF next year and, this time, I will put the launch party date in my calendar with a black Sharpie!
The winner of the Memorial Day Giveaway 16″ x 16″ Painting is
