I discovered two new designers at a D&D event in New York this month ~ Ghislaine Vinas and Sally McQuillan. Their use of color is incredible.
Ghislaine Vinas was born in the Netherlands and raised in South Africa. I love, love, love her style.
She is my dream designer……
How much do you love this bedroom?
This is a Ghislaine design in a beach house on Long Island.
Colorful lights against a white palette – kitchen inspiration.
This wall mural of plates is so creative….
Ghislaine put a climbing wall in this New York apartment – see on the right? Fabulous!
Sally McQuillian is the brains and inspiration behind Raoul Textiles. She and her husband started the company in 1981 on the beach in Santa Barbara. Thirty-seven years later, both of their kids are involved in the business.
I fell in love with her bold patterns and bright colors.
They also have wallpaper, so you can recreate the FABULOUS look on the right.
Both Ghislaine and Sally gave inspiring talks at the Decorator & Design spring event – take a look at their websites here to find out more:
